Our Mission
Helping Ethiopians discover great places — and helping great places get discovered.
Finding a reliable restaurant, a trusted mechanic, or a reputable hotel in Ethiopia shouldn't require asking five different people or scrolling through outdated Facebook posts. AddisReview brings all of that together in one place — with honest reviews, real photos, and accurate business information.
We're on a mission to build the most comprehensive, most trusted local business directory in Ethiopia — starting with Addis Ababa and growing to every city, town, and corner of the country.
Built by Ethiopians
AddisReview was born in Addis Ababa by people who love their city and wanted a better way to discover it.
For the Community
We believe local businesses are the heartbeat of Ethiopia. Our mission is to connect them with the people who need them most.
Powered by Real Reviews
Every rating on AddisReview comes from a real person who visited, ate, stayed, or experienced it firsthand.
Our Story
Started with a simple question:
"Why is it so hard to find a good restaurant in Addis Ababa without asking a friend?"
We saw that Ethiopia — a country with a rich culture of hospitality, incredible food, and thriving local businesses — didn't have a modern, reliable platform to showcase them. So we built one.
Today, AddisReview has over 8,500+ businesses listed across Addis Ababa, with plans to expand to Gondar, Hawassa, Bahir Dar, Dire Dawa, and beyond. Every business listing comes with photos, reviews, hours, and AI-generated descriptions to help you make the right choice — fast.
We're just getting started. And we'd love for you to be part of it.
